Philip findeth Nathanael； and saith unto him； We have found him； of whom Moses in the law； and the prophets； did write； Jesus of Nazareth； the son of Joseph。
1：46拿但业对他说，拿撒勒还能出什么好的吗。腓力说，你来看。
And Nathanael said unto him； Can there any good thing e out of Nazareth？ Philip saith unto him； e and see。
1：47耶稣看见拿但业来，就指着他说，看哪，这是个真以色列人，他心里是没有诡诈的。
Jesus saw Nathanael ing to him； and saith of him； Behold an Israelite indeed； in whom is no guile！
1：48拿但业对耶稣说，你从那里知道我呢。耶稣回答说，腓力还没有招呼你，你在无花果树底下，我就看见你了。
Nathanael saith unto him； Whence knowest thou me？ Jesus answered and said unto him； Before that Philip called thee； when thou wast under the fig tree； I saw thee。
1：49拿但业说，拉比，你是神的儿子，你是以色列的王。
Nathanael answered and saith unto him； Rabbi； thou art the Son of God； thou art the King of Israel。
1：50耶稣对他说，因为我说在无花果树底下看见你，你就信吗。你将要看见比这更大的事。
Jesus answered and said unto him； Because I said unto thee； I saw thee under the fig tree； believest thou？ thou shalt see greater things than these。
1：51又说，我实实在在的告诉你们，你们将要看见天开了，神的使者上去下来在人子身上。
And he saith unto him； Verily； verily； I say unto you； Hereafter ye shall see heaven open； and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man。

2：1第三日，在加利利的迦拿有娶亲的筵席。耶稣的母亲在那里。
And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee； and the mother of Jesus was there：
2：2耶稣和他的门徒也被请去赴席。
And both Jesus was called； and his disciples； to the marriage。
2：3酒用尽了，耶稣的母亲对他说，他们没有酒了。
And when they wanted wine； the mother of Jesus saith unto him； They have no wine。
2：4耶稣说，母亲，（原文作妇人）我与你有什么相干。我的时候还没有到。
Jesus saith unto her； Woman； what have I to do with thee？ mine hour is not yet e。
2：5他母亲对用人说，他告诉你们什么，你们就作什么。
His mother saith unto the servants； Whatsoever he saith unto you； do it。
2：6照犹太人洁净的规矩，有六口缸摆在那里，每口可以盛两三桶水。
And there were set there six waterpots of stone； after the manner of the purifying of the Jews； containing two or three firkins apiece。
2：7耶稣对用人说，把缸倒满了水。他们就倒满了，直到缸口。
Jesus saith unto them； Fill the waterpots with water。 And they filled them up to the brim。
2：8耶稣又说，现在可以舀出来，送给管筵席的。他们就送了去。
And he saith unto them； Draw out now； and bear unto the governor of the feast。 And they bare it。
2：9管筵席尝了那水变的酒，并不知道是那里来的，只有舀水的用人知道。管筵席的便叫新郎来。
When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine； and knew not whence it was： （but the servants which drew the water knew；） the governor of the feast called the bridegroom；
2：10对他说，人都是先摆上好酒。等客喝足了，才摆上次的。你倒把好酒留到如今。
And saith unto him； Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine； and when men have well drunk； then that which is worse： but thou hast kept the good wine until now。
2：11这是耶稣所行的头一件神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的，显出他的荣耀来。他的门徒就信他了。
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee； and manifested forth his glory； and his disciples believed on him。
2：12这事以后，耶稣与他的母亲弟兄和门徒，都下迦百农去。在那里住了不多几日。
After this he went down to Capernaum； he； and his mother； and his brethren； and his disciples： and they continued there not many days。
2：13犹太人的逾越节近了，耶稣就上耶路撒冷去。
And the Jews' passover was at hand； and Jesus went up to Jerusalem；
2：14看见殿里有卖牛羊鸽子的，并有兑换银钱的人，坐在那里。
And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves； and the changers of money sitting：
2：15耶稣就拿绳子作成鞭子，把牛羊都赶出殿去。倒出兑换银钱之人的银钱，推翻他们的桌子。
And when he had made a scourge of small cords； he drove them all out of the temple； and the sheep； and the oxen； and poured out the changers' money； and overthrew the tables；
2：16又对卖鸽子的说，把这些东西拿去。不要将我父的殿，当作买卖的地方。
And said unto them that sold doves； Take these things hence； make not my Father's house an house of merchandise。
2：17他的门徒就想起经上记着说，我为你的殿，心里焦急，如同火烧。
And his disciples remembered that it was written； The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up。
2：18因此，犹太人问他说，你既作这些事，还显什么神迹给我们看呢。
Then answered the Jews and said unto him； What sign shewest thou unto us； seeing that thou doest these things？
2：19耶稣回答说，你们拆毁这殿，我三日内要再建立起来。
Jesus answered and said unto them； Destroy this temple； and in three days I will raise it up。
2：20犹太人便说，这殿是四十六年才造成的，你三日内就再建立起来吗。
Then said the Jews； Forty and six years was this temple in building； and wilt thou rear it up in three days？
2：21但耶稣这话，是以他的身体为殿。
But he spake of the temple of his body。
2：22所以到他从死里复活以后，门徒就想起他说过这话，便信了圣经和耶稣所说的。
When therefore he was risen from the dead； his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them； and they believed the scripture； and the word which Jesus had said。
2：23当耶稣在耶路撒冷过逾越节的时候，有许多人看见他所行的神迹，就信了他的名。
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover； in the feast day； many believed in his name； when they saw the miracles which he did。
2：24耶稣却不将自己交托他们，因为他知道万人。
But Jesus did not mit himself unto them； because he knew all men；
2：25也用不着谁见证人怎样。因他知道人心里所存的。
And needed not that any should testify of man： for he knew what was in man。

3：1有一个法利赛人，名叫尼哥底母，是犹太人的官。
There was a man of the Pharisees； named Nicodemus； a ruler of the Jews：
3：2这人夜里来见耶稣，说，拉比，我们知道你是由神那里来作师傅的。因为你所行的神迹，若没有神同在，无人能行。
The same came to Jesus by night； and said unto him； Rabbi； we know that thou art a teacher e from God： for no man can do these miracles that thou doest； except God be with him。
3：3耶稣回答说，我实实在在的告诉你，人若不重生，就不能见神的国。
Jesus answered and said unto him； Verily； verily； I say unto thee； Except a man be born again； he cannot see the kingdom of God。
3：4尼哥底母说，人已经老了，如何能重生呢。岂能再进母腹生出来吗。
Nicodemus saith unto him； How can a man be born when he is old？ can he enter the second time into his mother's womb； and be born？
3：5耶稣说，我实实在在的告诉你，人若不是从水和圣灵生的，就不能进神的国。
Jesus answered； Verily； verily； I say unto thee； Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit； he cannot enter into the kingdom of God。
3：6从肉身生的，就是肉身。从灵生的，就是灵。
That which is born of the flesh is flesh； and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit。
3：7我说，你们必须重生，你不要以为希奇。
Marvel not that I said unto thee； Ye must be born again。
3：8风随着意思吹，你听见风的响声，却不晓得从那里来，往那里去。凡从圣灵生的，也是如此。
The wind bloweth where it listeth； and thou hearest the sound thereof； but canst not tell whence it eth； and whither it goeth： so is every one that is born of the Spirit。
3：9尼哥底母问他说，怎能有这事呢。
Nicodemus answered and said unto him； How can these things be？
3：10耶稣回答说，你是以色列人的先生，还不明白这事吗。
Jesus answered and said unto him； Art thou a master of Israel； and knowest not these things？
3：11我实实在在的告诉你，我们所说的，是我们知道的，我们所见证的，是我们见过的。你们却不领受我们的见证。
Verily； verily； I say unto thee； We speak that we do know； and testify that we have seen； and ye receive not our witness。
3：12我对你们说地上的事，你门尚且不信，若说天上的事，如何能信呢。
If I have told you earthly things； and ye believe not； how shall ye believe； if I tell you of heavenly things？
3：13除了从天降下仍旧在天的人子，没有人升过天。
And no man hath ascended up to heaven； but he that came down from heaven； even the Son of man which is in heaven。
3：14摩西在旷野怎样举蛇，人子也必照样被举起来。
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness； even so must the Son of man be lifted up：
